Memoirs of the Untalented

I walk through the biography section looking at all the books about presidents, lawyers, doctors, actors, singers, architects, and every other influential profession under the sun. And while I walk next to the wall of books, I wonder where the books about the people are. Where are the books about the untalented? Not the artists. Not the smart kid. Not the kid who was the lead in every school play. But the ones that sit in the background. The people that everyone else stepped on so that they could have their own book in the biography section. And I stand there and wonder, will there ever be memoirs of the untalented?
