Chapter Redux (S-A)

Setasha awoke to the sound of her phone ringing. She opened an eye and peered at her clock, “3am.” She sighed and picked up her cell phone and flicked it open, “Hello?” She murmured.

“Hey sis…”

Her jaw dropped when she heard the man’s voice on the other end. She had no idea what to say and, “…Leon?” was all she could manage to whisper.

There was a long pause on the phone.

“…It’s been a while.”

About an hour later Setasha was sitting in the waiting section of the airport. She clung to her jacket, “Damn it’s cold…”

She heard someone laugh softly off to her left side and glanced in that direction.

“Hey.” The brown haired man said with a smile on his face.

Setasha’s eyes widened, “Leon…” She whispered as she ran up and hugged him.

He barely managed to keep his balance. He laughed softly and smiled at the younger girl, “Come on Seta, don’t start crying on me now.”

She quickly wiped away the tears that were rolling down her face. She looked up at him and blinked, “Your hair got longer…”

“Yeah…” He laughed as she hair lightly brushed his shoulders, “I guess it didn’t it?” He ran a hand through his hair and pulled her closer.

Setasha laughed modestly, “At least your personality hasn’t changed at all.”

He chuckled as he picked up his bag, “Come on. Let’s get out of here.”

“Alright.” She found herself saying as he wrapped his arm around her shoulders and pulled her close again. “Leon…”

“Hm?” He asked.

She leaned against him a little, “…I’m glad you’re okay.”

He blushed slightly as she hugged him and smiled, “Don’t worry. I’m not going anywhere for a while.”
