It’s snowing again down on my heart

Freezing me deep

Just like all those times

Just like those times you told me too

The times I swore I loved you

Sometimes I swear I do

But the shadows cast among the trees

Mask the darkened thoughts in me

But I cannot bring myself to see

Just what it is you do to me

Under the moonlight sky

The stars guiding me along my chase

Further from my resting place

But its ok for nothing cares

It lets me wander, lost in thought

Frozen tears stream from my eyes

Mirroring the firelight in your gaze

But fading back into the maze

Carrying me, an empty shell

Back to its secluded hell

So it is never without guide

But it only sees in its own pride

So I will stay in my frozen cage

Keeping company as my stage

Staring through this tear stained page.
