Because you know the way it goes

How it hurts in all the right places

When you go off on your own

You leave me here with empty traces

Left alone with my thoughts, paranoia setting in

Panic growing faster, blackened thoughts now settle in

I’m falling victim to this thing inside of me

Ripping madly through my chest; finding some way to escape

Like curtains blowing freely, hung for broken window panes

Rapid water under streetlights surging down into the drain

Water droplets falling quickly

Just can't help it

Call it rain
