Seven Days To Heaven

Seven days to heaven,
I know it doesn’t seem,
Like I could ever know that,
But I saw it in my dreams.

Six days to heaven,
Are you going to miss me?
Will you cry when you think of me?
I hope you're happy instead.

Five days to heaven,
It’s raining hard today,
It’s so beautiful and clean,
I wonder if there will be flowers tomorrow.

Four days to heaven,
It’s warm outside.
Ice cream and swimsuits litter the scenery,
I wish I could join them.

Three days to heaven,
There’s music in the air.
My brother’s practicing his piano,
I like it when he plays for me.

Two days to heaven,
Momma’s baking apple pies.
They smell so good,
And the house smells like apple cinnamon.

One day to heaven,
I’m getting so sleepy.
The cat feels so soft when he cuddles with me,
And the light is so warm.

I wonder if heaven will be…
