A/N Well, this was a pretty random idea that came to me the other night. I am not planning on it being too long, but at least a few chapters. I am also really not use to writing in first person, but it was yelling at me to write it that way. Rated 'M' for later chapters, just to be safe

Also! If you want to be my beta for this story.. Ask me! No seriously . I really really need a beta for this.

But, if anything, if you see any mistakes please feel free to let me know. Constructive criticism is nice too, as long as you're not just insulting me but actually being 'constructive' about it.

Anyways! Try to enjoy!

I'll never understand why I continued to go. It had become routine back in freshmen year, the four of us watching the cheerleader practice. I had a reputation to up hold now, probably the only reason I continued going. As the lead quarterback of the high schooled varsity football team I was expected to be doing things such as this. I mean come on, what boy just past the age of puberty wouldn't want to watch a bunch of girls jump around in short skirts and tight shirts? A gay one. Reputation. It's what I keep repeating to myself time after time as we stood there in the stands.

The only person that I had ever outed myself to was my older sister, but... I guess that wasn't exactly by my own choice, what's a girl to think when she finds a box full of playgirl magazines in her little brothers closet? Heh, Megan handled it pretty well compared to how our parents would have. Actually, she was rather disappointed that I wasn't a bit more... Flaming? I think she had hoped for a shopping buddy. I guess there was Casey too but lets save that for another time.

Nevertheless here I was again, leaning my elbows on the guard rails at the edge of the stands. Jimmy and Curtis were both hanging all over the metal bars, unable to stand in one place for too long as their eyes roamed the bouncing group of cheerleaders on the track before us. Dean was passed out behind us, too stoned to even pay attention to all the bouncing breasts.

"Nathan!" Glancing up at the sudden call of my name I found both Jimmy and Curtis staring at me. "Hell Nate! I said your name three times man, wake up." Jimmy said through soft laughter.

"Dude... You lost in Casey's world?" Curtis seemed to feel the need to laugh at his own joke, which I ignored. "Shut up dope." Jimmy slapped the still laughing imbecile upside the back of the head. I just went back to watching the girls, well, over their heads and staring into the bright green grass of the football field to be exact. "Well, what I was trying to say," Jimmy started. "Jess was saying that Morsefield closed down...-" Morsefield? That prep school across town? Why would they close down such a big school? "-I heard a few of the football players are transferring as well. But damn, I can't wait to see their cheerleaders." Wait... What? Turning back to Jimmy I gave him a hard stare, hoping that my confusion was obvious.

"Damn Nate! Were you listening to a word I said?" This time it was my turn to receive a friendly slap in the back of the head from our red headed companion. Shrugging my shoulders and rubbing my head, he continued.

"Morsefield's been split up, all the students are being transferred to public schools next week. From what Jess was telling me, half of their cheerleading squad is joining ours." It suddenly clicked why he was telling me these things, and I dropped my head to the bar below with a groan. Girls, girls girls. Does he ever think about anything else? Glancing up at him the questioning gaze told me that as a straight man, I should have been much happier about this sort of thing.

"Headache." I pointed up to my head with a slight grimace. They just laughed at me. The conversation going quiet as they returned to observe the half dressed girls, probably hoping for a skirt to fly up too far.

"Hey Nate." I jumped as slim arms curved around my waist from behind, a gentle chin now resting on my shoulder. It was Casey.

Turning to kiss her cheek I smiled at her softly, ignoring the immature snickers coming from Curtis. "Hey babe. What are you doing here?" After giving me an odd expression, that I had no idea of what it meant, she turned out to watch the cheerleaders. "What do you think? I came to watch the high school girls flip their skirts up. Why else would I be here?" She squeezed my waist in a teasing gesture causing a smirk to grow on my lips. My eyes studied her chuckling face when I turned back to her. "And the real reason?"

She stuck her tongue out at me and I just rolled my eyes. “Meggie has a tutoring session with a few of the freshies here. So I just thought I would tag along and visit my 'oh so loving' boyfriend hmm?" Casey was my sisters best friend, they've known each other since first grade. Which also means I have basically known her my whole life, at least since I can remember. Back when Megan found the box of porn in my room, she had gone on and on for nearly an hour rambling to herself, 'Two in one week? What are the odds of that!' I didn't find out until later that Casey had come out and told Megan she was a lesbian, this being extremely surprising to hear at the time. Half way through my sophomore year both Casey and I decided it was time to get our parents off our rears about dating. So we hooked up. Well sort of, only for the sake of everyone else to stop nagging us.

Locking my fingers with her own on my abdomen, I turned to her with an amused glare. "Hey Case?"

"Hmm?"

"You uh... Wanna walk for a while?" I could actually feel my cheeks growing hot in embarrassment at the way that had to have sounded to my friends. I knew I was right when I heard Jimmy and Curtis snickering to themselves like middle school girls.

Casey grinned at me, sending me a teasing wink. "Sure, we can go... Walk." She added a flirtatious emphasis on her last word and pulled away from me. We headed down the ramp hand in hand, both of us grinning ear to ear as the guys called out behind us. For a moment, I studied our hands finding contrast between our skins nice. Her pale white skin almost seemed to blend perfectly with the dark brown of my own.

"Have fun you two!" I winced as I heard Jimmy yell out.

"Wear protection!" Curtis felt the need add behind us.

I could hear them both laughing and falling all over themselves as we kept walking. By the time we were out of earshot, Casey could hardly hold in her laughter. "I really, really love flirting with you like that." She was gripping at her stomach and trying to keep herself from falling over. I only shook my head and dug my hands into my pockets searching for the desired object. "You got some right?" I pulled out a black bic lighter and smirked at her, knowing full well that she had what I was asking for.

"Sweetie, when do I not have cigarettes on me?" Pulling out the red and white pack of death sticks from her own pocket we continued our way off the school campus. We both smoked like it was our life support so I guess it was a good thing to be dating a twenty year old who could buy my smokes for me, even if I was going to be eighteen in a month.

"Case! How many times do I gotta tell you to stop supporting the smoking habits of a minor?" Both Casey and I jerked our heads up at the sound of my sisters voice. I watched Casey grin sheepishly from the corner of my eye causing a question, that I had wondered many times before, to once again make it's way to consciousness. "At least a dozen more times love."

"Hmph!" Casey held her hands to her face, pushing her thick blond curls beneath her hands as she hid behind her hair and hands, my sister continuing our way. She grabbed the cigarette from my lips in mid-drag and pushed me over, sitting between Casey and I. "Gimmie that thing." She puffed on my cigarette and immediately went into a rant about the stupidity of high school freshmen.

That day started a whole new routine. Originally it was just foot ball practice and watching the cheerleaders but this week I got to escape the observing of miniskirts early. Megan was tutoring full time now, so Casey came along each day to save me from having to pretend to stare at breasts. Then of course we smoked half a pack of smokes by the time Megan was finally done. I guess I really should work on my smoking. I have been smoking for two years now, and I am really starting to see the downfall with my athletic abilities. My coach has tried to question me about it a few times, he' noticed how easily short of breath I am now days. Although somehow I have managed to avoid the conversation each time, I am sure it will catch up to me soon though.

The day that Jimmy had spoke of non-stop all week had finally arrived, the transfer students were here. I was barely able to hold in my laughter as he rambled on and on while we headed to our normal spot at the football stands. He had a permi-grin, almost as bad as Dean when he smoked too much pot. "Ok ok! I know that girl Tessa has gotta be on the squad. I mean damn! Did you see the legs on her?" He continued rambling as I laughed at him, choosing to stay silent.

Taking our normal position up in the stands, Jimmy and Curtis fighting over a Hershey bar as we waited for the practice to start. I jumped in surprise when a deep voice spoke out behind me "You know..." I turned to watch Dean, surprisingly still awake, rubbing at his neck, his eyes out on the field. "Don't get me wrong or nothin' guys... But uh... Are there normally guy cheerleaders?" Huh? Immediately I looked out onto the field, sure enough, there were five guys standing together in the group of girls... Wearing uniforms.

"D-dude... Is that even legal?" Curtis chimed in, it seems the two of them had stopped arguing over the chocolate to stare in awe at the male cheerleaders. "Idiot." The smacking sound that followed was the all I needed to hear to know that Curtis had receive another smack upside the head. "Lots of schools have guy cheerleaders.. Just... Not us. Well..." I turned to watch Jimmy scratching his head, in what seemed to be amazement, as he continued speaking. "Now we do..."

Loud cheers snapped my head back towards the field, their discussion and pep-talk was over and they were now moving into a practice routine. We all fell into a silence to watch the new members of the squad. Jimmy's was right about one thing, the new girl Tessa was on the field and currently being held up by one of the male cheerleaders. That's when saw him, I mean really noticed him. He wasn't scrawny, hell he was holding up a very large breasted girl, he wasn’t that weak, but his frame was much more smaller than my own and he couldn‘t have been more than six feet tall. His auburn hair reached messily over his eyes, longer than I thought a male cheerleader would have kept their hair, as he stood below the new girl Tessa. I could see the sweat dripping down his hair and onto his face from here, his porcelain skin was practically glistening under the sun, making him stand out from all the others around him.

"Oh! We got guy cheerleaders now!" The clap of hands grasping my shoulders and Casey's voice caused me to jump where I stood, shaking me from my concentration on the male cheerleader. Unfortunately it seemed Casey had caught my startled expression and was now staring at me quizzically. I cleared my throat and tried to ignore the heat I felt rushing onto my cheeks. Shoving my hands into my pockets I turned and headed down the ramp without a word to any of them.

"Nate! Where you goin'?" I heard Dean, but I kept walking with my head down, continuing until I found myself already sitting down on the same curb Casey and I came to smoke. What just happened? Running my hands through my hair I went over the situation again and again in my mind, a bit thankful that there had been so many girls out there that all my friends had assumed I was staring at because I was staring at this boy. I had been staring at him so absolutely that I hadn't even heard Casey approaching.

Slow footsteps drew my attention upwards to find Casey standing away from me, the same questioning face as before. "Nathan? You alright?" I am not sure how long I stared at her without talking, but every time I opened my mouth no words seemed to come out. "Sweetie... What's going on?" She sat down side ways in my lap, my hands going up to rest on her hips in habit.

"Uh..." I hung my head. I was pretty sure that if I wasn't blushing before, I definitely was now.

"Nate?" She questioned again. Pulling her closer I rested my chin on her shoulder, looking back towards the school fields. "So... It's weird."

She pulled back for a moment, studying me before she let me return to my original position. "What's weird?" How am I suppose to say it? 'Checking out a guy for the first time. That's what's weird!' I have looked at the porn, seen the magazines, check out the movie stars, and even the guys at the malls. But this was different... This was someone in my life. I may not know , but he went to my school, he wasn't someone that I would never see or was impossible to see without videos. He wasn't safe to look at. This was some that I had check out thoroughly and that I was pretty damned sure I would see again.

"Why did we have to get the damned male cheerleaders!" I groaned and planted my forehead on her shoulder with a force that would most likely give her a bruise. She squeaked at the pressure but became silent I was too embarrassed to look at her face to try and figure out what was going through her mind. It wasn't too long until I realized I didn't need to see her face. He body was beginning to tremble beneath my head and I groaned again, jerking back to look at her. She was laughing, as I had figured, but not just laughing, tears in her eyes laughing.

"Case!" I almost felt like shoving her off my lap as I glared at her. She tried to stop herself, I could see that she really was trying, but it took nearly five minutes until she could actually talk again. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry! But... It's just too cute!" I frowned already beginning to push her hips towards the edge of my knees. "Nathan!" She grabbed onto my hands and forcing me to stop. "I am just teasing you, no pushing me!"

"Hmph." Grunting and leaning back with my arms across my chest. She turned her body around, wrapping her arms around my neck as the straddled my lap. "Well?"

"Well what?" I squawked back at her.

"Which one? You were checking out one of them right? Or was it all of them?" Her face scrunched up as if she found her last statement to be disgusting. "I hope it wasn't that carrot top... I don't wanna sound too bitchy but even as a homo I can see that he is extremely ugly."

I just gaped at her, sometimes she could say the most surprising things, normally she wasn't one to insult others appearances. I hadn't even noticed the red head, I was to busy staring at the small frame of the delicious looking chocolate haired sex god. Stop it! Moron! I smacked myself in the forehead at the thoughts that were now racing around in my head. Casey seemed to have taken my actions as my answer to her question, because she immediately started apologizing.

"Oh! Sorry sorry! I mean... Maybe he's not too bad, He could clean up nicely I am sure.. I didn't mean to... What? Why are you looking at me like that?" I was gaping at her again, my mouth curved up in a large smirk as I tried desperately to hold back my laughter. "What!" She bellowed, her lips curving into a pout as she was obviously upset at not knowing what was so funny.

"I wasn't looking at the carrot top." I mocked her earlier tone as I watched her breath out a large sigh of relief.

"Thank god... I was starting to get scared for a minute there, thought you had lost it... So which one was it?" She was bouncing excitedly in my lap now, waiting for her answer. How did I describe him? I opened and closed my mouth a few more times before blankly staring at her.

"Nathaniel! You're horrible! If he was that good looking you should be able to describe him!" I was already being dragged back towards the gates of the school grounds before I was given a chance to reply.

Finally reaching our destination she shoved me towards the rails and jumped onto my back. Wrapping her arms around my shoulders she rested her face near my ear. “So? Which one?” She whispered with a teasing tone that caused my face to heat up again, making me very thankful for my dark skin. Glancing over towards my friends on the other side of the stands I cleared my throat, looking out at the field once more. They were practicing the same routine, he was once again holding up Tessa.

“Underneath the sluttish looking blonde…” I mumbled, barely loud enough for her to hear, but I turned to watch her scanning the field.

“No!” I stumbled back as she jumped off my back and leaned so far over the railing that I reached out and grabbed her hips, scared she was going to flip over and fall.

“What?” Nervously I tried to turn her around to face me but Casey resisted my tugs and stared at the cheerleaders.

“Hmm… The cutie with the longer hair right?” She turned to face me, her expression making me even more worried. I only nodded at her, watching a grin slip onto her lips. “Well hell Nate… That’s my cousin.”
