A/N: Before I get stuck with the credit for this, listen carefully. I DID NOT write this. I can't do poetry. Never could. This was written by a friend, who is in denial about his own skills. He can write wicked awesome poetry, and will never admit to it, for reasons unknown. I know, he's an idiot, right? Yes, well, he wouldn't make his own account, and I got instructions to post this for him. Read & Review!

Lost for words with all to say
Darkness around fades away
Sunlight shines through open clouds
I am free

Brilliant drops of golden sun
Destroying the dark, I have won
Living life for the full
But not for long

Chains of my darkest thoughts
Binding me down, I am caught
Lost in a world ruled by night
I am gone

The twilight prison of my mind
Labyrinth of black, night is blind
I walk through dim thoughts, heart bleeding
Lost again

Black bars of shadow, as deep as dark
In darkness fall, I’ve lost my mark
Alone, waiting for my saviour
But none pass

But as I see false fantasies
Light swims before my eyes
But it does not fade
Hope remains

One step forth, progress I make
My life has a purpose and I take
In golden sunlight, my saving sign
I live again
