I don't feel pain
I don't cling
--I don't want affection
--When I'm happy, I don't sing

I don't need you
I don't want you
--I don't feel you, see you, know you

I don't cry for you
I don't pine for you
--I don't ache for you
--I don't sigh for you

When you turn away, I don't flinch
When you turn back, my heart doesn't sing
--When you kiss me hello, I don't smile
--So don't worry about going away for a while

I don't cry when I write poems like these
I don't need to hear your voice
--And if you want to pretend 'I'm sorry' makes it all better
--Well, then I guess that's your choice
