dreams cast by hidden feelings and golden eyes.
dark and deep in the night
when even the earth sleeps
when we're alone and silent in the gloom.
you're the quietest but in my head you're screaming words louder than the
silence after a storm or the intention of my dreams.
you're sworn to secrecy but i know you love the thrill
of knowing something someone else may only dream of
i, i love the looming moon's sigh of ancient tongue.
the swell and exhale of the ocean's depths breathing life into
my lungs, saline legends
and i am just one immense secret, so why don't you love me?
is this all a secret that i have unknowingly realized?
whispered confessions to a subconscious mind.
