The Soffrun Tree: Part 1

Have you ever seen a Soffrun tree?

Twice as tall as me

Stands the Soffrun tree

Lovely little Soffrun tree.

Branches reach in all directions

Twisting twining turning away

But all lead back to the trunk

And on those branches

In the spring

Buds all over green

And on those branches

In the summer

Blossoms waiting

To be discovered

Petals of yellow change to green

Then to blue around the edges

A purple dash upon each one

To draw the bees in to the center

To the bright red center

Of the lovely little Saffron blossom

On the branch of the Soffrun tree.

Can you imagine?

The many, many petals

On the many, many blossoms

On the many, many branches

Of the many, many trees

Of the beautiful Soffrun trees
