A/N: This is a poem I wrote for my friend, Twilight-Snow. Well, to be more exact, her original character for a story.

:Fate of the Song:

Now the exile walks

Troubled by the past and the future

By the deed she did not do

By her fate and the fate of the flame

The endless journey

and the trail of tears

As the chill wind carried her dreams along

with its breath

The dying ember

Across the sand-laden deserts

the high-peaked mountains, the cloud-specked sky

the deep ocean and the gentle forests

Watching as the elves treaded

on their path to destruction

As fairies vanished, as mankind failed

as the black ones rose to power, and as

her fellow wings abandoned

the world they cherished so much

And as the once white feathers turned dark

Atop the citadel, underneath the sea of stars

She remained

A lost angel

Lost to the world

Lost to the heavens

In what was eternity
