Story-Teller’s Beginning: A Prologue
Come listen to the stories
Of so long ago
The legends and the folk lore
Of the ancients that are told
Of the heroes and the villains
Of defeats and success
Of true love and pure hatred
Come, come listen to all this
Come listen to the tales
Heed the lessons that are taught
Solve the impossible riddles
Laugh, cry, and gain the wisdom many sought
Authors Note: I planed for this to be the intro (or prologue) to a story (or an epic), the only problem is: I don’t have the story. But I like this poem, so here it is, story or no.
