Your laugh like refreshing rain Your eyes as black as coal The spirit of a little child A resillient, ageless soul With angels you reside My council and friend I may miss you now But I know we will meet again I'll never be alone For I know you'll watch over me Whever I may go There your presence will be I love you, mom And I keep you close every day There is no happier or gentler thought Of your beauty and grace I'll never forget you So long as I have breath And remember with calm reassurance We will reunite after death So even though the road may be trecherous You will be with me as my guide Now no lonliness can sway me I've an angel by my side.
