People pushing, people shoving

Sometimes it seems nobody’s loving

Life is hard in different ways

Yet we all have a part to play

I know it’s hard, but please stick tough

Hiding is never, ever enough

Life is hard, beating down

But try and smile, never frown

I know you’ve heard these words before

From teachers, parents, schools and more

But this poem comes from one your age

She knows your pain and she feels rage

That some careless person cut you deep

But listen hard and don’t be meek

Be strong, confidence is the key

True friends love you not what they see

Be yourself, do what you love

Have inner peace, your own free dove
