For strangers to gaze upon?

Your wrists to the shackles

To stretch me out before your eyes

Like a banquet for the ravenous?

To become the river caressed

By tender banks?

Would you become breeze

That spans miles--loving every mountain

And the valleys more?

Would you touch soft as tears on petals?

Quake and divide earth into canyons?

Score the moment with the song of your quickening blood

And contently listen

As echoes of sighs

Evaporate into the timeless--

Surreal when all is through?
