For Laughs

The day of my wedding will be on Friday, the thirteenth, just to freak people out. The bridesmaids will be dressed ion emerald green, except for my Wiccan best friend. She’ll be donning ebony black, holding her book of names, just to freak people out. The flower girl will have violet curls and throw about wilted petals. The music we walk to will be a tribal song mix, just to freak people out. My love will wear a flowing white gown, and I a silken white tux. When the priest gives us our vows, with a smile we’ll say, “I’ll love you until the day that I kill you.” Just to freak people out. We’ll leave in a black carriage with two ebony stallions, and the driver will wear a black coat. And of course he will wear a pumpkin on his head, just to freak people out. And at the wedding reception we’ll slow dance to Marilyn Manson. We’ll sever live escargot, and fish heads on rice, just to freak people out. And when we send out our thank you notes for all the great gifts we have every intention to keep, we’ll tell all our guests it was all just a sham, and that we only did it for laughs. Just to tick people off.
