First picture… And I have to do dozens of them. I believe that my whole free time will be wasted ‘cause of these pictures. Stupid teacher thought I can do this ‘good enough’ (her words). Okay – I don’t mind taking pictures – this is one of my hobbies, but through such heat? Someone – shoot me! Rain is perfect weather for taking photographs. Sadly, it’s boiling hot today. My brown hair is pulled into messy ponytail and blue eyes are wet because of bright sun. I’m wearing black t-shirt and black skinny jeans. Black is the best thing to wear when sun is scorching… Sarcasm.

Suddenly, swarm of black doves took off. Click. Yeah… So, I’m doing the assignment which calls ‘One step from summer’. My teacher asked me to search good views and take photos of them. And take a wild guess what did I say? Yes, of course!

Children playing in sand box - click – another picture. Lonely butterfly on flowers’ blossom, little girl with pigtails licking ice-cream, two tomboys standing in park fountain up to they knees. Once I was in it too, but it wasn’t nice wading – some guy pushed me in to it. Inadvertently I hope. But that’s the other story – back to the pictures. I went to the park. Light streamed trough the branches. It looked so nice and calm. Click. A couple holding hands and walking pathway. I took a picture of them from their back. I lowered my hands. They looked some kind familiar.

All of a sudden, the guy recoiled. Jack. My ex’. I dumped him half a year ago. It was because he forced me to have sex. I know what you think – who is still virgin when she is seventeen? Well sorry – I’m not prepared. Jack thought it was very stupid so I was such a brilliant girlfriend and set him free. As if. I found him screwing some brainless bimbo. I cried month – it hurts like hell when you find out that the person who you are dating fucks all school sluts. Eventually I got over him. He’s just an invisible and irrelevant person for me.

Yet it isn’t very nice to meet him. I turned around and went through the grass next to the young birch. His green leaves glowed nicely. Click.

“Gabriella?” whadda you know? Mr. Jackass tried to speak to me. I ignored him.

“Jackie, come on – it’s just some ugly girl.” I heard squeaky voice. Ugly??

“What a fuck?” I turned around. Again.

“Hey Gabriella. How are you?” Jack knows that I’m hot-tempered.

“Who you call ugly, Miss Ugly?” I snapped.

“Jackie, she, like, called me ugly!”

“No shit.” I grimaced.

“Gabriella, Natasha, please stop.” Jack said.

“Jackie, don’t butt in. You’re not my boyfriend anymore so you can’t prescribe me.”

“She’s your ex?” blondie asked.

“Yes.”

“Why did you dump her?” Natasha asked Jack again.

“I dumped him.” I lifted my head higher.

“You?”

“Yes, I. Sadly, you can’t come back to me Jackie.” I played dummy. It’s very exciting to see poor Natasha and Jack confused. Besides – Jack really wanted to start everything all over again, but I didn’t talk to him. “You see Jackie – I don’t like you anymore.” I explained him pronouncing every word very clear – like to three year old boy.

Yeah – I agree – he looks handsome, like typical beach boy: not very long blond hair, baby-blue eyes, tall, lean, but muscular. He’s even hot. But just when he stays silent. When he starts to talk you see that he isn’t such a dreamy boy. Someone from the heaven grudged him some brains. And I like thinking guys.

“You bitch!” Natasha yelled and I just sensed her hands in my hair.

“Whore! Get off me!” I shouted.

“Natasha, Gab – stop!” Jack repeated, but done nothing. I got free from Natasha’s grip (it wasn’t very hard) and stepped in front of Jack.

“Never,” I say “Never call me Gab again.” I slapped him. At that moment Natasha recovered again and started to pull my hair. Oh no – I won’t let you go so easy. I started to kick her and few minutes later we were on the ground fighting each other. All of a sudden I feel strong hands pulling me away.

“Let me go! I, like, wanna kill that bitch!” I heard Natasha.

“Ditto slut!”

“Calm down.” I could saw Jack holding Natasha. Strange, but I don’t feel my hear breaking into peaces. See – I said I’m over him.

“Jack – keep your whores quietly. If one of them ever touches me again, I swear I’ll kick your guts!” I still shouted as someone drags me away.

At the moment I realize that my camera is still next to the fight place.

“Shit, I forgot my camera.” I cursed silently and turn to go to take it.

“I got your camera.” rough voice said.

“Thanks… I guess.” I muttered and lifted my eyes into familiar face. “Hudson? What are you doing here?” Hudson is the guy from my guitar class. He is quite sexy. Typical bad-boy with long black hair, deep eyes, hot figure, always dressed in black and tattoo next to his belly button. What? I accidentally saw it when his t-shirt lifted up. blush Maybe I have crush on him. But just maybe.

“I think you should be grateful that I’m here.” he smirked.

“I am. But you didn’t answer the question.”

“That doesn’t matter. So – what was that?”

“Oh… My ex’ with his girlfriend.”

“Fighting over a guy?” his sight darkened. “I wasn’t thinking of you like that kind of girl.”

“What kind of girl? What are you talking about?”

“You were fighting poor girl because she’s now with your boyfriend.”

“Hell no! I dumped him half a year ago.” I offended.

“Why?”

“Except his forcing to have sex with him and finding him with some blondie – I don’t know. I guess I was PMS’ing.” I said with sarcasm.

“Ouch, sorry.”

“Nothing.” I calmed down.

“I guess what’s why you don’t trust guys anymore.” he smirked again.

“What? That’s nonsense.”

“So why you’re not paying attention to me?” he asked looking straight into my eyes.

“Wh…What?” I mumbled and blushed.

“You heard Gabriella. I tried to cache your attention since first time I saw you.”

“Don’t be stupid Hudson.” I lowered my eyes.

“See – I said that you don’t trust guys anymore. But trust me, please.”

“How can I trust you, if you are so popular between girls? Jack was too.”

“But I don’t need any other girl – I need just you.”

“Why? There are lots of girls like I.”

“But there isn’t any other girl that I love.”

With that I lifted my head up and saw sincere look in his eyes.

“Love?” I blushed furiously.

“Yes.” he whispered and started to lean down.

Few seconds later I felt his lips on mine and realized that he’s telling the true – I can trust him. I answered him. Few minutes later we pulled away breathlessly and smiled to each other.

“Maybe we should go – you still have take a lot of pictures.” Hudson said.

“From where do you know I have to take pictures?” I was surprised.

“It’s for me to know and for you to find out.” and with that he planted another kiss on my lips.
