Choice

There’s something in this silence

It creeps it cripes it croaks

It’s coming round the corner

And reaching for your throat

When you embrace its madness

Then you discover truth

The faulty world around you

Has deemed you ugly and uncouth

You will wish to speak out

Your vocal cords will strain

But when you open up your mouth

You can only cry in vain

The only way to stop it

To break its death grip hold

Be a conformer, do as they say

Don’t fight, just do as you’re told

Make your choice and beware

This choice only you can make

Conform and you’ll be accepted

Grab freedom and you’ll brake

That something in the silence

It only offers choice

Yes or no, decide soon

Maybe then you’ll find your voice

The purple/blue button loves you, return the favor!
