Humpty Dumpty

By

Little Black Piano

--

Cool breeze, cascading waters

Silhouettes only getting taller

White knight against a grey backdrop

Full moon, under the circus top

--

A white night only I could see

Waiting for you to come and rescue me

All alone with delusions and mystics

Tellin’ me how my life should be

--

Humpty dumpty, never thought he’d fall

But he fell, right off that wall

Should I stay? Should I go?

Should I wait? I guess I’ll never know

Humpty dumpty, never thought he’d miss

But I guess, he never felt like this

So should I stay or should I go?

Should I wait? I guess I’ll never know

--

Summertime, freezing cold weather

I lie my way, to only feel better

Black water, see the monkeys juggle

I’d step away, if I didn’t struggle

--

A white night only I could see

Waiting for you to come and rescue me

All alone with delusions and mystics

Tellin’ me how my life should be

--

Humpty dumpty, never thought he’d fall

But he fell, right off that wall

Should I stay? Should I go?

Should I wait? I guess I’ll never know

Humpty dumpty, never thought he’d miss

But I guess, he never felt like this

So should I stay or should I go?

Should I wait? I guess I’ll never know

--

Colourful, trapezes

If only you could see this

White lions and tigers

I am a fighter

In my mind is a clock

Tic Toc, Tic Toc…

--

Humpty dumpty, never thought he’d fall

But he fell, right off that wall

Should I stay? Should I go?

Should I wait? I guess I’ll never know

Humpty dumpty, never thought he’d miss

But I guess, he never felt like this

So should I stay or should I go?

Should I wait? I guess I’ll never know
