It occurred to me once that there’s something nice about keeping yourself in sync with time. I mean, that’s half of Wicca right there, isn’t it…keeping in touch with the seasons and the passage of time. So I wrote myself 3 prayers, that I say morning, noon, and night, to help me stay in touch with the pssage of the day. Feel free to use these yourself, or write your own if you want!

The sun rises; so I rise

May sleep run laughing from my eyes

And may this day awake in me

New joy at all there is to see

And all the things there are to do

On this bright world; afresh, anew.

I sing the songs that paint the air

And walk my daytimes without care.
