For some a mask is used to hide
I use it to see
For some a shell is to conceal
For me it is protection
For some to hide is to not to be
But it is through being behind a mask
That we truly see
What is behind other’s masks
And for some it seems
That I have hidden myself for eternity
But it is through concealment
That I truly live
