Chapter 1: We're going down

Alex

Alex turned and ended the Modern dance in a pose on the floor with her two dance partners beside her. Her teacher frowned as the watchers clapped and said

"Alex your not working with your soul! Kat, Lindsey help Alex up. Alex rest your sore ankle for a bit that might help. One more time, and Alex."

"Yes Mrs. Laine?"

"I want a more dramatic crash pose in the end ok?"

"Sure"

Alex started the dance again she could see a few people watching there was a cute guy watching but she didn’t pay attention to him she was in her element. She stood on the tips of her feet getting ready to do the final pose when she saw something flying right towards her.

Tyler

Why did he have to pick up his brother from the singing rehearsal? His brother could drive. Ahh well he walked passed a few open windows and went by a dance class he watched. He noticed that his ex, Kelsey was there. He took out a rubber band and shot it at her. Kelsey shifted and the rubber band flew past her.

"Crap"

He saw it hit a dancing girl in the ankle didn't wait to see the results and ran. One second later he heard a crash.

Alex

The rubber band hit Alex's ankle and she crashed to the ground at the wrong time. Pain shot up her leg like she was being electrified and let out a yelp as she landed on her wrist. Pain was everywhere she glanced at her Right wrist and new right away that it was broken. Rehearsal was called off Alex had to go to the doctor and get it wrapped. Later Kat offered her a ride home. So much for a dramatic crash she thought. Kat interrupted her thoughts

K: "Oh gosh are you ok?"

A: "no."

K: "Did you see who did it?"

A: "no." She was getting cranky

K: "What ever Alex..." disbelief in her voice.

A: "It was a guy I barely saw his face" I sighed

*Pause*

K: "Was he hot?" she asked tentively

A:"NO!"

K: "Alex you have to admit it was pretty funny when the rubber band hit your ankle."

A: "Whatever"

Alex got in the car (Red convertible btw.) and slammed the door. Kat laughed "Shut up and drive" I huffed.

Kats Point of view

I glanced at Alex and was slightly jealous. She was soooo pretty, she had sparkling brown eyes (who's heard of that?) and dark brown hair that was so dark you could swear it was black untill she stepped into sunlight it was slightly wavy and went down to the middle of her ribs. Alex was new but she and I were already close friends. I snapped out of my thoughts and pulled in to the driveway. Alex was asleep so I decided to wake her up in the only sensible way. I popped headphones over her ears and turned my MP3 volume all the way up.

Alex

Fire was growing around her, the air smelt like burnt flesh

"Alex we have to go-"

WE'RE GOING DOWN DOWN IN AN EARLIER ROUND

SUGAR WE'RE GOING DOWN SCREAMING

I jerked awake as the music blared and ripped off the head phones

"Alex your home!" Kat smirked

"KAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!"
