Chapter 17: Bad? Not so much.
This is a \mini chapter
Alex
I stepped out of the locker room with a towel around my neck and hair soaking wet. The hair dryers in the locker room was broken.
“Hypocritical much?” a voice asked. I jumped and turned to the left. Tyler was leaning against the wall flamingo style (one knee up) by the door. Waiting… for me.
“Why were you waiting for me?”
“Do you have a ride?” He asked ignoring my question.
“No. I don’t.”
Crap! How’m I getting home?
Tyler laughed scornfully.
“Neither do I, Kyle took my car doing practice.” Once he finished saying this my hopes of getting a ride from him had already vanished. I looked at him pointedly.
“I guess that means we’re walking”
As Tyler and I started walking home I realized something. He was waiting for me so neither of us would have to walk home a lone.
“Thank You” I said to him.
“ For what?” He asked a bit guarded. When I laughed, a ghost of a smile flitted across his face.
“Because you waited for me to get out of the showers before we walked home.” His eyes went to my hair at the mention of showers.
“Speaking of which, your hair is soaking wet you’ll catch a cold. Its almost December you know” Tyler said his smirk overtaking his face.
His smile is better looking than the smirk.
“You know, the coldest it gets on winter nights is 60 degrees” I retorted tossing my wet hair over my right shoulder.
“60 is still a very chill temperature, and it gets really windy in winter. Does wind chill pop into your mind?” He said his eyes sparkling from kept up laughter. I smiled and let a laugh escape.
“Its obvious I won the original conversation” I said smirking.
“Uh huh, but I won this one” Tyler mused rolling his eyes. I shoved him lightly.
“Says you”
‘Of Course” Tyler said back. Arrogance practically oozed out of him like lava out of a Volcano: uncontrollable.
I let him get ahead of me on the sidewalk and stood and watched until he was about 7 feet away. Running, I leapt onto his back. His breath whooshed out as he caught my legs around his stomach. I laughed, his reaction was just as I expected.
“You caught me off guard” He said a bit defensively. I raised my eyebrow in a challenge. Then suddenly he stumbled and both of us crashed onto the rocky side walk. Tyler was laying on his stomach and I was laying on his back.
“Get off” He wheezed. I rolled off his back and laid next to him on his left. The right side of his face was implanted in the grass, so he was looking right at me.
“You ok?” I asked.
“Yeah I’m fine” He said. A wind blew and both of us shivered. A leaf flew by and landed right on his left eye.
“I’ll get that” I said laughing and I flicked it off.
“Hmm the swellings gone down on your black eye” I observed.
“What color is it right now?” He asked. I touched his eyebrow and traced a circle around his eye slowly.
“Its fading into a lighter purple now” I said stopping right above his eyelid. Realizing how weird I was behaving, I took my hand back.
“Your bruise is still a dark blue” He said laughing as he poked it.
“You have a mean head butt” I said poking his hand away. He laughed.
“I could say the same about your punch. I don’t think I’ve felt a punch like that for a long time” Tyler said.
“Then you’ve been hanging with all the wrong people” I said laughing at the face he made just then.
“What are you laughing at?” Tyler asked frowning.
‘Your face” I replied truthfully. He frowned even more. The wind blew again and this time I sneezed. Tyler jumped up and held his hand out to me.
“Time to go home” Tyler smiled.
He looks better with a smile

Kat and Reb were on the living room couch when I stepped through my front door.
“Hey! What took so long for you to get home?” Kat asked.
“For a gossip girl you’re sure missing out” I teased
“You didn’t answer the question” Kat said tapping her foot impatiently.
-Ty-
“You didn’t answer the question Tyler” Kyle said raising his eyebrow. I laughed; remembering the events that happened this past hour.
“Well if you must know I was walking home with her.” I said. Kyle raised his eyebrow.
“Due to the fact that neither of us had rides” I finished my sentence by glaring at Kyle. He fidgeted on his feet.
-Al-
“We got along well, and we ended up talking the whole way home”
-Ty-
“Wait don’t you guys hate each other? A lot?” Kyle asked
“Well actually she’s—“
-Al-
“Don’t you guys hate each other?” Reb asked.
“Well actually he’s—“
-Ty&Al-
“-- Not that bad”

Authors Note: I know!! I'm so so so sorry I've been slow on the update. I've just been having a major writers block and I was working on the plot of the story (switching a few things around) before I started actually writing it... I hope you like my story so far.
PLEASE REVIEW!!! Like no joke!!! I WANT SOME REVIEWS!!! and I promise I already started the 18th chapter... *but some reviews would help motivate me to work quicker : ]* I know the story is moving slowly but I'm gonna start making it speed up so that the story doesn't drag on and on and on...
THANKS FOR READING!!!!
