I felt freedom yesterday,

The wind in my gelled hair,

The music blasting from the speakers.

I felt good,

Finding it all by myself,

Relying on nothing but memory.

But I was a little worried,

Worried I wouldn't make it,

I'd see you the next day and have to fake it.

But I made it,

And for that few hours,

I was free,

The keys in my hand and the adrenaline in my heart.

I said my goodbyes,

And went back.

I think I found my second love,
