I've cried and now I feel empty;
a pointless oblivion, even quiet
fatigue has vanished, leaving loss.
My ribs ache, gentle reminders,
of spent passions, head on desk.
They give me hugs and soothe
with quiet whispers but I'm gone
and I don't know quite where.
