Lady Pirates
This may come as a surprise to you
But women can be pirates too
We are equal as men
So that means we can do anything that they can do
We can hoist the sails
We can sail through the gails
We can swab the poop decks
Lady pirates are equal to men
We can do anything that they can do
We can pillage other ships
Take their treasure
They go into town to buy
But, unlike the men
Who spend their pillage on women and rum
I think I’ll take a different type of fun
Juicy Couture purses is what I’d by
With my ransom from the ship
I’d spend the rest on lattes and mochas
Then I’d go back to the ship
To loot another day
This may come as a surprise to you
But, women can be pirates too
(this poem was inspired by a review from Peanuts Factory)
