You reach out to me

My body approaches, my mind slowly follows

I scream for you to come back

You are led away

I run toward you

You break away

Then- I stop

You call to me

Your appeal so strong

My mind catches up

I suddenly see, the Horror

The call so strong at one time turns to repulsion

I want to run screaming in the opposite direction

God help me!

What have I done?

What have I become?

I see the thing I once chased and I shutter

"Never again" I say

Never Again!

But the call always returns
