Prologue

Thousands of years ago, there existed in the otherwise normal world abnormal beings. They possessed powers and some used them to defend the weak while others chose to become evil. They were called the Magi. For centuries, the good battled the evil in a never-ending struggle for peace. Then, the most powerful seven dark Magi combined their powers to unleash monsters upon the world. The best good Magi countered with a single, pure spirit before passing away. Once the powerful seven on each side were gone, peace began to slowly unfold, and Magi found homes in normal cities, trying to forget the past. Some families, descendants of the good Magi, became wealthy and powerful while dark clans were banished to a separate dimension. However, the monster spirits still roamed and fused their spirits with newly born humans.

The pure spirit did the same, finding a host in a child unknown. One descendant of one of the Seven Dark Magi still lives, and plots to collect the evil spirits and gain their powers so he could dominate the world…and his first target is the Dragon spirit, housed within the body of a young boy with fearsome red eyes.

This is his story, the story of Malcolm Frasier; host of the Dragon.
