I walk alone on this darkened street,
Knowing of all the people I shall never meet,
For I am a bookworm and no-one likes a geek,
Just once I would like to be called pretty but to the world I am a freak,
The road I am on is the one less travelled,
For most people choose to be popular and shallow,
But they are pretending to be someone they are not,
Whereas I am my self and do the things I love alot,
Like writing this poem or reading a book,
Whereas on the road they choose, life is all about looks.
