Prologue

Jesse smiled at the small red head sitting across the table from him. He was playing with the ring on her finger, the ring he had given her. She was… cute, but she wasn’t what his attention was set on.

The other red head at the other table, Katherine; Kimberly’s sister. It was easy enough to make Kim believe that she was in love with her. Now all he needed was for Katherine to believe it.

Katherine was suspicious of everyone, but it would be worth it once he gained her trust.

Kat glanced up and he quickly had to turn his attention back to Kim.

Oh well, he’d just have to settle for second best…
