Cement Twins

At the stoplight, I turned and watched the cement truck next to me.

It seemed to wallow in trudging sludge,

Like the pregnant woman on campus,

Carrying her backpack along with her unborn twins.

She carries them like wet cement,

Pleading to be poured.
