An Ode to Stick and String
By Chees et Man
(Here is a poem made by Stone in respect for his best friends, Stick and String. If you don’t know who they are, read my story, please).
Stick and String were meant to be.
They’re like shoelaces, or a bag of fleas.
They can’t break up, not easily.
Or I’ll be dead within ease.
They can be the best of friends,
Friends until the very end.
Even though that they come from different places,
The Woods and the City and different faces,
Still their close like tight shoelaces;
And I am their best friend.
To help them, I will give advice.
To make it through, I’ll try to be nice.
But if their relationship gets carried away,
I’ll only eat chicken and rice.
So that’s all of String and Stick…
Now read and review, you big fat…
(“Let’s not get carried away, Stone!!” Stick and String said.)
