I always spent a lot of time

Just watching the stars spin idly about me

And I realize now

That it meant so much to me

The ocean held your eyes

And the sky got your smile

But me

Lonely and small and worthless me

I got your heart

It was full of the rock and roll

And glamour and lust

But the love we held

Was like the pearls I found reflected in your eyes

The movie stars were nothing

When I compared them to you

Because you rocked to the beat

Of something that wasn't even quite real

Your picture's by my bed

And still burned in my mind

Whenever I get lonely

I just watch you

Your smile

Your eyes

Your love

You're the heart of an entire galaxy.

A/N: Is it really all that romantic when you're thousands of miles apart?
