I don't think you see what I do Another smile hiding a demon's face Is it time now?
I've got time to kill and years to waste

List your promises broken Clouded behind an oil-painted face Another century of history A chance to learn what could have been

But I feel hurt now You don't even try to hide your greed Another night coming home now What are you thinking in your sleep?

I don't think you see what I do Tagging a price on someone else's life Cash your paycheck Coming from the pain of who you find

I'm selling a history Lies that crack the oil paint In a crowded corner Unsure of what I'm meant to create

There goes your soul And what you received in exchange Standing outside heaven's door Don't care if I'll never get in

But I feel hurt now Damage's been done, not just to me I bring the devil home tonight To exorcise my family tree

A dream long gone, a forgery In place of the word "humanity"
Love in the morning, a struggle otherwise This government hoarder in a victim's disguise
