One day I am ill,

So I stay at home,

At lunch I log on,

But my friends haven't emailed,

In the back of my mind,

A voice whispers softly,

'Forgotten, Forgotten',

I try to ignore it,

It will soon go away,

So I email my friends all again,

I wait and I wait,

I glance anxiously at the clock,

Just ten minutes left,

Before their classes start again,

Will they suddenly remember to check their email?

'Forgotten, Forgotten',

I know it is stupid,

But I blink back the tears,

Because I thought they would want to know if i'm o.k,

All I want is a two minute chat,

But no i'm,

'Forgotten, Forgotten',

Even just one little clue like a hit on this poem,

But i'm 'Forgotten, Forgotten'.
