Too Bad

Sometimes our burdens get too heavy to heave

Sometimes we want to give into the night

Sometimes we just want to up and leave

But we must always keep up the fight

Sometimes our hearts get too heavy to hold

Sometimes we can’t find our way out of the plight

Sometimes we can’t get away from the cold

But we must always remember to keep up the fight

Sometimes our troubles seem too big to tell

Sometimes we can’t find our true white knight

Sometimes we’ve seen how our hopes fell

But we have to always keep up the fight.

And when we feel like our hearts have crashed

Or when our chances all were smashed

And we’ve turned away and shunned the light

Too bad, we have to keep up the fight.
