A while ago my french teacher lost her baby and I felt really really sorry for her. She kept going to school untill about a month before he was supposed to be born. Our class even bought her a gift. And then after the Easter Holiday our school principal told us she lost her child. Her son, named Raven... I felt so bad that I wrote this to let out my emotions and to somehow show that even though Raven is dead, he won't be forgotten. My respect and sympathy to all those who have lost their child or people they loved. Espacially the last lines show what I think...

Life

Gone

So sudden

No one saw it coming

Hope

Crushed

So sudden

No one understands

Dreams

Broken

So sudden

They’ll never come true

Faith

Destroyed

So sudden

Why is the world so cruel

The joy once found is now lost

Forgotten in the lingering moment of sadness

And though it hurts to remember, you won’t be forgotten

You will live on forever in the hearts of all that cared

Before you were even born

Before they even saw you

All who waited

To hold you

To love you

And we all regret

You never had the chance

To breath

To live

One of the things

A raven symbolizes

Is hope

And that’s what I believe you gave this world

Before your life-fire was lost

I believe you left a flame behind

A flame of hope

For all those who loved you

And somehow I know

That you will watch over them

You’ll wait for them

And just like that flame of hope

You will never fade

Because in every heart you warmed

With the mere thought of your innocence

You will live on

Forever
