The irony of it all confounds me

Blanking out all else

Not showing its true meaning

Keeping its identity secret

How can we find what we don’t know?

I look, not caring enough to search

I seek but do not search

All senses overridden by confusion

All emotions dissolve

Leaving me void, empty, monotone

Forever left to be a wandering soul

No point, no future, alone forever

Eternity without, eternity alone

But none of this matters

I care not for the luxuries

Not wanting the company

I revel in the peace, the comfort

Alone, no one to deal with

No one to care for

No one to love me in return

My thoughts roam

Searching my life for a purpose

Finding nothing, and being

Carried away by the irony of it all
