Sohcahtoa, a ledged, a life; unexplained who or what Sohcahtoa was or is, but we know that whatever Sohcahtoa is, we know that it’s out there.

To most people Sohcahtoa was a legendary person, one of Japanese folklore, a man who guarded the gate to the Spirit World. To others Sohcahtoa was a small mountain in the Kyoto region of Japan. For me though, Sohcahtoa was my friend, my love.

When I was young, Sohcahtoa came to me, though I didn’t know it at the time. All I saw was a little brown and white kitten, lost and hurt. So I took him home with me, fed him, convinced my parents to allow me to keep him, and cared for him. I named him Hanatarou, it was kind of girly, but it fit him, well as far as I thought.

It wasn’t until after about two months that I learned the truth about my kitten. I was walking into my room when I saw Hanatarou, I mean Sohcahtoa, talking and trying to write with a pen on a piece of paper.

My jaw dropped instantly. I was unable to speak, so I stood there for a few minuets. After a few minuets I was able to speak, but hardly.

“Oh…My….Gosh….H-Hanatarou…?” I said, looking down at him. He froze for a few seconds, dropping the pen. Quickly though, he ran to the door, kicked it shut with his back paws.

“Ai-chan,” He began. “Look this may be confusing to you--”

“YOU CAN TALK! YOU WERE WRITING!” I yelled.

“Hush!” He said quickly, jumping onto my bed and looking up at me. His blue eyes connected with my green eyes. I suddenly felt a bit calmer, as if everything was ok, that nothing was wrong. “Yes, I can and I was. I’m not a cat, if you haven’t guessed. Well not really a cat. I’m Sohcahtoa, guardian of the Spirit Gate. My soul was sent into this body somehow and I’m not sure how.”

I just gaped. ‘Sohcahtoa is real…’ I thought. ‘He’s real…’ I remembered my grandmother telling me of the guardians, Sohcahtoa being one of them. All I could remember then was that Sohcahtoa guarded the Spirit Gate from evil spirits and demons and kept them from the better side of the Spirit Realm.

“Stop gaping, “Sohcahtoa said, turning to lie down. “You’ll catch flies with your mouth open like that.”

I shook my head, but kept staring at him. My cat, my PET was really one of the most powerful Spirit Guardians.

“S-so,” I said after about five minuets of silence. “Y-you’re really Sohcahtoa, the Guardian of the Spirit Gate. Why’d you come to me and stay with me here?”

“Well,” Sohcahtoa began, “I felt the good inside of you. You’re a kind good natured person, one with a pure heart. You’re just the kind of person I need to set me free.”

I didn’t fully understand what he meant, but I nodded anyway.

Ok this is the same thing as the last story, only I'm making it longer and filling it with more chapters. Reviewers get my great gratitue and knwing that they're help me pass the 10th grade, if thats worth anything. XD
