Writer’s block, the evil menace it is know better as.
It is a writer’s kryptonite, their weakness,
And their main trouble.
It engulfs your mind with nonsense.
It plaques it with frustration.
Often ending in your fatigue and devastation.
You’ll bite your nails, whine, and
Whimper until the day’s end for a small idea
To merely wash into your head.
You’ll relax for a time to focus and think.
Then it hits!
Your idea it has appeared in your head.
You grab a notebook, pen in hand,
You commence writing a story that’ll
Win you an honor or an award; that’s grand.
A book so great everyone will remember it
Forever more.
This is best thing, writer’s block could provide,
And all it takes is pen, paper, and your mind.
A/N: I might be going on a hiatus for a little while so I at least wanted to type up one more poem before I do. Just for a little while, and please review.
