Life
is the failing aspirations
the enemies
the hatred
Life
doesn't let you live how you want
pushes you around
knocks you down
and when you get back up
it holds you back
keeps you from what you want
but
life can give you hope
false or true
and guidance through
good
bad
happy or sad
Life
is the way you live
the way you hold on
the way you feel what you want...
it's the words...
the needs...
the chaos and confusion
Life
is the failing aspirations
the crushed dreams
the good and the bad...
it's what you want
or what you need
or what you seek...
the fantasy
the reality
the unexplained
it's a growing emotion
a fury deep inside
the truth...
Life
is it worth it
to live like you like it...
to be with whoever?
Life
doesn't always let you live like you want
you don't control it
but you can move on
you can get over it
and try your best
'cause no one's perfect
that's why you try
the best you can
and move on

isn't there for you...
you have to look out for yourself
for your life...
it's the failing aspirations
the way you breathe...
with crushed dreams...
is it always how it seems?
is that really the way you must live?
the way it all goes?
