She was tardy, again. Moe walked into class and took her seat quietly, as the whole class looked at her dramatic entrance. Moe gasped for air and took a pen out of her oversized purse she carried around everywhere.

After waking up an hour after her alarm went off, Moe hopped in the shower, got out, dressed herself in a pair of jeans she had been wearing for the past four days and a t-shirt she fished out of the hamper, and then begged her mom to drive her to school. Despite the fact that Moe absolutely hated being late to school, she usually was four out of the five days.

“Moe, do you have your homework?” Mrs. Lopez asked. Crap. Was it the fact that in her morning rush, Moe accidentally left her finished Spanish homework on the kitchen table? Well, that is definitely not the case. She simply didn’t do it because she was too caught up in a book she was reading and fell asleep before she could do her homework.

“Well, you see, what happened was I was watching the news last night and then all of a sudden a boy and his mother came onto the screen. The woman was holding the crying boy and explained how her husband had been deployed six months prior to the interview. I was right about to switch it off but then she said something that almost made me fall out of my chair. They couldn’t find her husband. So, after hearing that, I was in such an emotional state I headed off to church and prayed. Hence, I didn’t do my homework. I hope you can understand that I was not able to do my homework because of personal problems.” Wow. Moe was such a liar. But, Mrs. Lopez bought all the garbage that just came out of her mouth.

“Oh, dear. I’m sorry to hear that. I completely understand.” She squeezed Moe’s shoulder and headed back to the head of the classroom and began to write down vocabulary words on the dry erase board.

“You are so bad.” Moe heard someone whisper. She turned back and saw Regina sitting behind her, with a laugh smile on her face.

“Anything to keep an A in this class.” Moe confessed. The girls laughed and then continued their work. About fifty-five minutes later the bell rung and the hallway was filled with students. Third block, finally. Third block was the only class Moe ever wanted to go to.

When Moe entered the classroom she already found Oliver and Sebastian sitting in their regular seats near the computers. Moe eyes were transfixed on Oliver’s head. Her hair was orange this week. Figures, last week it was red. She was probably going for fire colors, Moe thought.

“Hey.” Oliver said to Moe, and she nodded back in response. Moe looked over at Sebastian and Sebastian was staring at her. They didn’t say anything and Oliver didn’t dare interrupt their staring contest.

“Look, bitch. You can either hate me or love me. But, we all know how this is going to end. So, get the fuck up and hug me.” Moe was never one for awkward silences.

Sebastian’s eyes didn’t leave Moe, but her lips were curved up in a smile and she was laughing. She got up and hugged Moe so tight that Moe thought she was trying to strangle her.

“Lesbian love fest!” Some male classmate yelled from across the classroom. Sebastian let go of Moe and then all three of them started to laugh. They took their seats and pretty soon Marley came strolling into the classroom carrying a stack of books. Oliver looked at her and then all of a sudden it seemed like the world was going in slow motion. Marley walked slowly towards her seat, but then her foot hit the desk leg in front of her and she started to fall, in slow motion though.

The whole class burst out in laughter as Oliver rushed over to check on Marley. But, before she could get to her, their third block teacher, Mrs. River, was already at the scene screaming her head off.

“Oh my goodness! Marley! Are you okay? I cannot believe you fell like that!” Mrs. River was such a worrywart.

“Oh, yeah, the desk leg came out of nowhere.” Marley got up and collected her books and headed to her seat.

Before the girls could engage in their highly needed conversation, Mrs. River turned off the lights and began a PowerPoint on some grammar/language/text/technique whatnot. But, little did River know, that when the lights go off all the fun starts.

Oliver immediately turned towards her friends and began to ramble. “Ralph and I went out!” Sebastian, Moe, and Marley’s jaws dropped. They couldn’t believe what they were hearing.

“How did you get him to go out with you?” Sebastian said. Marley and Moe laughed at how that sentence sounded and obviously Oliver noticed it too.

“What’s that supposed to mean?” Oliver said, cocking her head and scrunching her nose.

Sebastian laughed and then tried to make it sound better. “I mean, you’re you Oliver. It’s just a surprise, that’s all. We’re talking about you.” Sebastian didn’t make it sound any better.

“Thanks, buddy.” Oliver said. Sebastian tired again.

“No, no. That sounds bad. What I mean by that was, I’m shocked that you gained self-confidence. No, not shocked, proud.” Sebastian gave Oliver her most earnest smile and Oliver returned it. “Well, tell us all about it!”

Oliver looked around and saw that their classmates were copying the notes that they were currently supposed to be doing, and turned back to her friends.

“We went to the café and had coffee. We talked about school and stuff. It was fun.” Oliver said simply. She was smiling dumbly and herself and then noticed that her friends were frowning.

“That’s all? You guys didn’t bang in the bathroom or anything?” Moe asked. Marley and Sebastian burst out in laughter, drawing attention to their part of the classroom.

“What did you say, Moe? Would you like to share that with the class?” River said, stopping the PowerPoint, putting her full attention on Moe. Moe just smiled opened her mouth to tell the class what she had just said. She had no shame.

But, before Moe could repeat herself, Marley spoke up. “Oliver went on a date with eye guy.” Oliver blushed so red that even through her tan skin you could see scarlet.

"Um, excuse me ladies. Have you copied the notes up there?" River asked.

"Uh, yeah. We did it. But, you're not allowed to see it." Moe chirped. River raised her eyebrow and then scoffed.

“You guys amaze me. You better get an A on the test for this material.”

“Don’t we always?” Marley laughed. They all laughed and then continued talking about Oliver’s date, but then River was back.

“That reminds me. Where are your essays? You promised me you’d have them to me today. Moe, you said you would email it to me. Well, my inbox is empty.” The girls looked at each other and then laughed, because they all knew what each other would say. And they all said it anyways.

“We’ll have them tomorrow, River.” Marley said. River just sighed and walked away. They always did that to her, but River knew that they were her brightest students, and loudest. Before Oliver knew it all their eyes were on her.

“What did you guys talk about?” All of them asked. Oliver blushed again at the reminiscing of her date. If she told, she’d spoil everything. She just shook her head and River started yelling at them again and then gave them worksheet to do.

The girls sat there and finished all their work and were about to pick up where their conversation left off but noticed that it was always time for them to switch classes. Oliver gathered up her things and then faced the other three girls doing the same.

“I don’t want to go to exploratory today. Do you girls want to stay back with me?” Oliver inquired. This was a question that was asked a lot amongst the group of friends. Every other day the girls stayed with River during exploratory to do ‘make-up work’ and most the time they did stay back for work for other classes. But, it wasn’t technically skipping though; they had signed passes from their teachers letting them come back, most the time.

“Sebastian and I can’t. We have health this week.” Moe’s voice sounded depressed and sad. Eh, sex ed. why can’t we just skip the awkwardness?

“I can’t either. I have chorus practice.” Marley said. They were all standing up waiting for the bell to ring and Oliver was left with two options. 1) Go to gym class. 2) Write her essay. Gym class sounded like heaven.

Oliver headed straight to the locker room and changed awkwardly in the crowd of girls. I hate these people, I hate these people, and I hate these people. I hate seeing them in their underwear, seeing their faces should be enough punishment. Oliver dressed quickly and ran out of the locker room and into the gymnasium. It reeked of old peanuts and sweat. She walked around the gym a few times but then a face came through the crowd heading her way. Oliver couldn’t help but think. Why does he always appear from a crowd of people?

“Hi.” Charmander’s voice was soft and comforting to Oliver. She closed her eyes for a brief second and tried to remember his kiss. But then they snapped open and met his beautiful gray eyes, the ones that sucked her into his cyclone of chaos in the first place.

“Hi” Oliver chocked out. They just stood there and they looked awkward.

“How are you?” Charmander asked her. Her automatic response would’ve been ‘fine’ but then she did something unexpected.

“Why do you care?” Oliver said, her voice sounding nasty. His eyes flicked towards her, obviously not prepared for her bitterness. He shifted his weight to his other foot and look up at her.

“I care for a lot of reasons., one of them being because I love you.” Charmander barely got his sentence out before Oliver started to laugh her heart out.

“No effing way.” Oliver laughed. Then she looked up into his eyes again and then saw the pain in them. She saw the Charmander she fell for. She saw the boy that turned into a man. Oliver saw the stranger that turned into her best friend. She saw the person who wore his heart on his sleeve. She saw the fighter that turned into a lover. Oliver saw her ex lover that had always been a liar. “You never loved me.”

“Sex is very important, but it is the most dangerous act you as teenagers can do. That’s where I come in.” Mrs. Greenforth was standing at the back of the classroom holding a box filled with condoms and a smile on her face. A few people snickered from the back of the classroom and Sebastian and Moe were two of them. Mrs. G continued her lecture on safe sex and Sebastian went to sleep. She was so tired from staying up calling Bright over one hundred times. Moe on the other hand was staring into the corner of the room. Her eyes were attracted to a cardboard box on a chair a few feet away and then slid over casually and picked up something from inside the box.

“Hey, Mrs. Greenforth, can I eat this?” Moe started a waving a banana in her right hand in the air and the whole class burst out into laughter. They all knew what those were for.

“What the hell is that?” Moe asked. Her voice filled with disgust and confusion. She leaned in closer, her face inches away from it and out of curiosity she sniffed it. “It looks like someone threw up on a piece of bread.”

“They call it nacho pizza. This school is disgusting. They expect us to eat this garbage?” Sebastian shoved the plate away from her and then looked over at Oliver who was looking dreadful. But, Sebastian didn’t have time for her problems. She needed to find Bright. Sebastian’s jade eyes looked at anyone who looked about six feet tall, hoping to find her boyfriend. And then, there he was. Standing next to a girl was had blonde, almost white, hair and lips that were basically perfectly heart shaped. Sebastian snapped. She got up from the lunch table and marched towards him.

“Uh oh.” Marley said, as she saw Sebastian practically run across the lunchroom. “She does know that she can’t afford to get suspended again, right?”

Sebastian slowed her pace as she got closer to them and she could feel the stares of people burning into her back. Bright and the girl were now laughing hysterically at something Bright said and Sebastian felt the need to know what was so funny.

“Hey Bright. What’s so funny, Hun?” Sebastian cooed. Bright jumped at the sound of her voice and immediately looked terrified. Unfortunately, the girl he was standing next to didn’t know Sebastian’s reputation, so she did something very very stupid.

“Hi. Who are you?” She asked. Bright looked even more terrified. His eyes flicked back and forth towards Sebastian then to the girl.

“Who am I? I’m Sebastian, Bright’s girlfriend. In case you didn’t know, you stupid whore, Bright is taken. So, keep your filthy hands away.” Sebastian spat. The girl looked confused and then looked at Bright with her wounded eyes.

“Whoa whoa whoa. Sebastian, calm down. This is Josie. Josie, this is my girlfriend Sebastian.” Before Bright could continue Sebastian snapped again, but this time at Bright.

“Oh, so this is Josie? This is the reason why you didn’t show up to school on Friday, after you promised you’d come. So, this is the whore you’re cheating on me with!” After screaming her last words, Sebastian flung herself at the girl, ready to tear her head off. But, while in mid air Bright quickly grabbed Sebastian around her waist and pulled her back.

“Let go of me you son of a Volvo owner! I want to kick her ass!” Sebastian was swinging her arms around frantically as she tried her hardest to swat Josie with the palm of her hand. Josie was screaming her head off and Sebastian looked as if she was swimming in the air.

“Sebastian! Will you please calm down? Just let me expla…“ Bright’s booming voice was stopped abruptly and his hold on Sebastian loosened. He slowly began to fall to the floor and Sebastian fell too. Bright was on the floor in the fetal position, cupping his you-know-what. While Sebastian was swinging her feet and arms back and forth in a wild animal action, her foot had connected with Bright’s you-know-what in a painful, solid, and forceful motion.

Crawling towards him, Sebastian patted her boyfriends back and started to panic. “Bright baby! Are you okay? Oh my god, are you crying? Stop crying you idiot. Take it like a man!” Bright started to whimper as Sebastian continued to lecture him about being a man. He eventually got up and so did Sebastian.

Josie was still standing there and stared at them lifelessly. “You okay?” Her voice triggered Sebastian’s undying rage. Before anyone could do anything, Sebastian launched herself at Josie and then they hit the floor with a thud. Sebastian was sitting on top of Josie and was repeatedly smacking her forehead with the palm of her hand.

People in the lunchroom had gathered around them and started chanting. “Fight! Fight! Fight!”

Josie tried to fight back but Sebastian was too strong. Sebastian stopped smacking her forehead and then pulled on Josie’s hair screaming, “Die bitch die!”

The fight only lasted about 5 minutes until Bright grabbed Sebastian off of Josie and dragged her out of the cafeteria.

“Have you lost your freaking mind, Sebastian?!” Bright screamed. Sebastian glared at him and then raised her eyebrow. His was voice too loud, and Bright knew that. “I’m sorry for yelling. But, you can’t just attack someone like that, Hun.”

“Oh yes I can. I’ve done it millions of times, and watch me do it again.” Sebastian threatened. Bright sighed and then shook his blonde hair out of his face, revealing those baby blues.

“Josie is a new girl here at school. I didn’t come to school on Friday because I took her out.” Bright said slowly.

“Oh, I get it. She’s the new girl, so you thought that since she’s new I wouldn’t know about her. Good thinking, you cheating bastard!” Sebastian was standing on her tiptoes and started poking Bright’s chest with her razor sharp nails.

“Okay, first of all ouch.” Bright said shoving her hand away from his chest. “And second of all, I am not cheating on you. Josie is just an ex-girlfriend. She’s a freshman.”

Bright backed away as he said this statement and Sebastian was following him closely.

“Ex girlfriend? Wow, I would never doubt that for a second. You two look perfect for each other! You always liked the blondes without the brains, Bright! Good choice! I cannot believe you! I cannot believe you skipped school on Friday to go out with the new girl you happens to be your ex girlfriend!” Sebastian took a breath in ready to finish off her big speech but was interrupted by Bright’s firm and stern voice.

“Josie is my sister’s ex girlfriend, S.” Bright said.

Sebastian fell onto her heels and then backed away. “Oh.”

A/N: The only reason this chapter is my favorite is because my friend Sebastian would definately, without a doubt, do all of this. She is such a bad ass. But, the character Charmander will be explained in the next chapter, that will be coming soon. Once again, if you don't get the humor of this story, don't feel bad. Not many people do. Mainly because I'm writing about my friends, which means we're basically the only ones laughing. Haha. Well, thanks for the reviews and please leave more! Review!! -Delilah
