Soldiers Prayer

Oh, heavenly Father I beseech thee, give me peace of mind and still of heart as I go forward on to the Field of battle. Make me strong in the face of hardship and evil. Give my will and my body the ability to over come the trying times that lie ahead.

When the Arrows hiss and steel clashes upon steel give me the calm to do my duty with courage and honor. Let my aim be true, my sword be keen and my shield be strong. Keep me ever on guard for those who would seek to maim and destroy me.

Camp you angles around me as I sleep, Let Micheal ride into battle with me mounted upon a barbed steed. Give your angles charge over me and let not the demons breech our sanctum sactorum. Keep me safe till at last I return to my home and my love.
