Waltzing A Murderer The Second
By Dylan Harley
Once a jolly conman set up base beside a river
Under the shade of a coolibah tree,
And he sang as he sat and waited for his next poor victim
“Who’ll come a waltzing The Black Jack with me”
Waltzing a murderer, waltzing a murderer
Walking down the street, throwing bodies in the creek
And he sang as he sat and waited for his next poor victim
“Who’ll come a waltzing The Black Jack with me”
Down came a stoner to smoke beside that little river
Up jumped the conman and flicked out his cards
And he sang as he tricked that stoner out of all his cash
“You came a waltzing The Black jack with me”
Waltzing a murderer, waltzing a murderer
Walking down the street, throwing bodies in the street,
And he sang as he tricked that stoner out of all his cash
“You came a waltzing The Black Jack with me”
Down came the cops and started shoving our poor conman
He pulled out his gun and fired one, two, three
Down went both the coppers, clutching at their killer wounds
“They went a waltzing a murderer with me”
Waltzing a murderer, waltzing a murderer
Walking down the street, throwing bodies in the creek
And he sang as he ran jumped across that little river
“You came a waltzing a murderer with me”
But the river was quite wide and conman couldn’t quite make it
So in his last moments he prayed to god
But was forsaken and he fell down into that little river
Cursing the world as he drowned
Waltzing a murderer, waltzing a murderer
Walking down the street throwing bodies in the creek
And to this day he still haunts Dead Man’s Creek, screaming at the kissing teens
“YOU’LL COME A WALTZING A MURDERER WITH ME!”
