She sat down in the corner

Hello my dear readers, here’s another one for you. Tell me if you get it. And R&R.

She sat down in the corner

And hugged her knees close

Holding herself with a tremor

Begging her soul to mend

Rocking gently

She mutters to herself

And a sad story she tells

with a wistful look

Her lips part slowly

I wish; she whimpers

I would love less easily

And perhaps break a little harder

Maybe I could protect myself a little more

She then slips again rocking

No longer talking

I wish she had said

And as silently her bruises tell a story

Silently secrets spilled

From invisible bruises

Help they scream but I ignore

And stare it might take a while

But then with a shudder and a gasp

I no longer see the girl

Like a dream gone forever

I stand and look into the mirror

Out into the broken world I go

She screams begging me to come back

Love a little harder she begs

But I ignore myself

Forgetting the image of me in

A heartbreak curled.

Hugs and kisses to all Review plllllleeease…

Lots of love

N.J
