The prom queen was a drag queen
and as goes for the prom king?
Let's just say this isn't Halloween...

He wore a dress that made him look slim,
but his shoulders were wide,
it was fine,
prom this and party-in.

The king was laced up and down
knoted with his special crown,
the crowd would cheer and clap their hands,
so when the couple went to dance
guess who was the man?

As they danced to something by Madonna
there were kids outside smoking marijuana,
and they seemed to be in a state of nirvana,
as well as everyone inside,
it was just lovely, plastic cups would collide
filled with punch and spiked with rum.
And here I was sitting boredly on the side
I wondered if I should get some?
Instead I confied
and watched idiots divide;
half the dance floor was boys-on-boys
the other side were girls ... with no boy to enjoy.

It was a divinely gay time.
