the moon lingers across her skin
painting sparkling diamonds over her smile
like a halo white aura dancing between my bloated eyes;
and she was so beautiful.

her hair shimmers in the light and she kisses
stardust between her teeth, feeling the clouds curl between
her hands, smearing her palms with raw innocence.

"i love you," i whispered.
"forever, and (n)ever" she cried.
