Stone Cold

Sitting in her room,

She cries of sorrow,

Wishing everyday,

For a better tomorrow.

Crouched in the corner,

Clutching to that bear,

Watching all them,

With a penetrating stare.

chores(x1)

With a cold heart and hollow eyes,

everyday she wants to die,

she does not mourn,

she does not weep,

she does not have dreams in her sleep,

She sits there alone,

staring into space,

wishing all the pain,

would just go away.

Trying to block out,

The voices in her head,

Screaming all the things,

Left unsaid.

Night falls and her voice is gone,

She sits and she waits,

But she'll be dead by dawn.

chores(x1)

With a cold heart and hollow eyes,

everyday she wants to die,

she does not mourn,

she does not weep,

she does not have dreams in her sleep,

She sits there alone,

staring into space,

wishing all the pain,

would just go away.

Stay alive little girl,

Where's all the hope?

Stay alive little girl,

There’s no way to cope.

Now she's gone,

Rest at peace,

She lived to die,

Her life now ceased.

chores(x1)

With a cold heart and hollow eyes,

everyday she wants to die,

she does not mourn,

she does not weep,

she does not have dreams in her sleep,

She sits there alone,

staring into space,

wishing all the pain,

would just go away.
