I Owe You One

We're talking today,

Everything's going okay,

You ask for advice,

I answer without thinking twice,

You ask why I respond so quickly,

I said one of us has to be happy.

Then the questions come.

What's wrong?

Are you alright?

Everything I think to say sounds so dumb.

I can't believe you want to know,

Why lately everything's been so low.

No one else noticed yet,

One quick conversation and you've begun to fret.

I tell a line of general stress,

How every detail is one big mess,

Most of it's true,

I wouldn't lie to you.

I'm shocked you care,

Out of everyone I didn't think you'd be there.

Thanks.

I Owe You One.

So, seriously, I've been about to break down for the last week, and no one said a damn thing, and I talked to Nick for the first time in ages, and he pinpoints it right away? Because of a phrase I use all the time with everyone else?

I want to move.

Please?

Reviews are very much appreciated.
