Nearkill

A friend should be there
When needed the most
They follow your trail
They're always too close
For comfort, they push
To hold onto hope
I stand at the door
She's waiting to grope
Me when I don't see
She's hiding without
A sound, then she moves
And I let a shout
Escape from my lips
She's happy to hear
I guess she gets off
On seeing my fear
